People in Need is a Czech non-governmental, non-profit organization active all over the world. 'For over 20 years, we have been helping people in emergencies. We provide humanitarian aid in critical regions around the world in response to a real need, we combat poverty, and we strive for a society that is open, informed, engaged and responsible. People in Need (PIN) has been working in DR Congo since 2008 and every year helps hundreds of thousands of people. In the eastern provinces of South Kivu and Maniema, we are assisting in reducing malnutrition in children and in pregnant and breastfeeding women. We encourage prevention inside communities as well as necessary treatment in healthcare centres. In addition, we are trying to improve quality and access to health care and safe drinking water in the rural areas of DR Congo. / People in Need est une organisation...

Depuis plus de 20 ans, nous aidons les personnes en situation d'urgence. Nous fournissons une aide humanitaire dans des régions critiques du monde entier en réponse à un besoin réel, nous luttons contre la pauvreté et nous nous efforçons de créer une société ouverte, informée, engagée et responsable. People in Need (PIN) travaille en RD Congo depuis 2008 et aide chaque année des centaines de milliers de personnes. Dans les provinces orientales du Sud-Kivu et du Maniema, nous aidons à réduire la malnutrition chez les enfants et les femmes enceintes et allaitantes. Nous encourageons la prévention au sein des communautés ainsi que les traitements nécessaires dans les centres de santé.
